By Friday, Kosovo and Serbia must submit proposals for the dinar issue, and next week it is expected to be discussed. This is set after the meeting of chief negotiators, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkoviqi, in the presence of European mediators.
Politologist Shkodran Ramadani has called the concession and issuing of the Republic of Kosovo the issue of discussing the dinar in Brussels.
The decision, considered irreversible by an independent institution, has simply been transformed into a proposal that will be subject to negotiation in the coming days. This is concession from the Republic of Kosovo that up to a few days ago said it is the internal issue of Kosovo. This is a major release of the Government of Kosovo, where until a few days ago it pledged that such a thing is non-negotiable. Going there is a concession, and since this decision has been made, the mediator will take into account Serbia's” proposals, he said at KTV.
Ramadani has said a non-negotiable issue was negotiated in Brussels.
“None of the mediators have been questioned the legitimacy of the CEC decision, but we have seen since an initial position saying that the issue is simply the technical competence of an independent institution, we have seen that it has now become part of the negotiation in Brussels. Today we saw more than three hours of negotiating a case that should not be negotiated at all”, he stated.
According to him, Kosovo issued leads to Serbia.
“We have to deal with a concession, forward forwarding to Serbia's pressure that also came in the form of dialogue mediators” requests.
Ramadani has suggested that Prime Minister Kurti should clarify the situation.
The Kurti has had the habit of saying that the demands of the mediators and of Serbia differ. When they are Serbia's demands packaged as international demands we should take them with reservations and we should not examine them at all because they are Serbia's demands with bad intentions. Kurti needs to clear up and tell us why she has accepted a request from Serbia”, he has said.
And, he added, Kosovo violated even the condition it itself had decided would not negotiate without ensuring the extradition of criminal Milan Radojic.
Kosovo has set the extradition of Radojici as a condition, and today it has gone to Brussels without being extradited. In addition to withdrawing from the dinar decision by turning the decision into a proposal that will be followed by Serbia's proposals, we have the fact that it has gone to Brussels and continued negotiations without extraditing Radociqi”, Ramadani has ended.
