On Tuesday, EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak has invited the chief negotiators, his key counterparts, to come to Brussels to continue discussions. So, first of all, continue the discussion, which has already started weeks ago for the Kosovo Central Bank's decision on the dinar. And there will be other points to discuss among the chief negotiators from Serbia and Kosovo in Brussels, which are the most urgent issues within the” dialogue, EU spokesman Peter Stano has declared.
spokesperson Stano recalled that a meeting in Brussels had earlier been held over the Kosovo Central Bank decision. According to him, this meeting brought some results, but it had to continue under discussion at the level of chief negotiators.
“This problem was created due to a lack of co-ordination and unilateral action that created problems in the dialogue. But the good news is we started dealing with this within the dialogue. So, continuing discussions about the dinar will be among the few issues on the agenda next Tuesday”.
The European Union spokesman has confirmed that, in addition to the dinar issue, implementation of the Ohrid Agreement will be addressed, or, as he put it, individual aspects of the issue will be affected by both parties and mediator. / RTK
