At today's meeting, the Council of Ministers adopted some changes to the “decision for the participation of the Republic of Albania Armed Forces in international military operation KFOR in Kosovo”.
Concretically, the length of this mission was set from December 31st to December 31, 2027.
Also changing in the decision is the diet for days of stay, since between $60,000 a day and $12,000 a day, in addition to the monthly wage.
The decision envisions that the period of stay on the mission for each representative will be with the rotating system every 6 months and 1 year for the post ACOS SPT, which adds to the days of stay for switching with the next contingent (taking and handover, delay of strategic transport).
The financial effects, stemming from the implementation of this decision, are met by the defence ministry budget.
