Alfred Peter, executive director of Charistta Kosova' in Ferizaj, has called for reaction from the Consumer Protection Department because the same was not served in a business in Ferizaj because of the month of Ramadan.
Peter, who made known the discrimination actions of a business at the Village Centre in Ferizaj, has declared that he felt discriminated against because he was not allowed to be served inside the restaurant.
He has said he has been denied service only because of his religious beliefs, which he has faced with much distress because of religious tolerance in Kosovo.
I'm deeply disappointed and sad by the discriminating treatment I've encountered today at a restaurant at the villagejaj in Ferizaj when they refused to serve food inside the restaurant because of Ramadan, insisting that we could eat only outside. I can't remember feeling this way without respect. No one should be denied service based on his religious beliefs. It is depressing to see such intolerance in a supposed comprehensive society”, Peter said in his post.
He has not made known the business name, while calling for the Consumer Protection Department to be more attentive.
I call on those who hold Ramadan for themselves to explain this category that you hardly love. The Consumer Protection Department must be attentive along with other relevant institutions”, He's done.
