Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has reacted to the newspaper “Yeah. LITICO” concerning the report he made on the unprecedented case of his behaviour to Albanian journalist Ambrozia Meta during a news conference yesterday.
Rama hasn't even today apologized for his move until he said that naming a “friendly over shoulder” like “agresion” and then as “fears”, without even asking the opinion of the journalists who were present, does not tell the truth.
In addition, it shows disrespect for “the real victims of aggression and intimidation in today's area of journalism”.
In this response, Prime Minister Rama claims the journalists' security situation has improved markedly and journalists in Albania are already facing bullets, attacks and intimidation.
