Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has said that implementation of the Agreement and the agreed Annex between Kosovo and Serbia is important for preserving security, stability and peace in the Western Balkans.
He has written on the social X network on Monday that it is not enough just recognition of the “agreement, which is legally binding”.
“To ensure progress, the Agreement and the Implementation Annex must be officially included as part of relevant processes for Kosovo and Serbia's membership in the European Union. Any delay in doing so only strengthens the status quo. And the status quo about this strategic key to a peaceful, prosperous and European neighbourhood in the middle of Europe does not serve Europe's own security”, Rama said, recalling the meeting of the European Council of the EU on March 21st.
