Hoti, on a Facebook note Wednesday, said the suspension of the private owner who was handling the subject is disturbing.
“Government interventions in independent institutions are damaging the economy, exacerbating the business environment and sending very negative signals to local and foreign investors”, Hoti said.
“Two economic options in Kosovo have expressed their concerns about the Ministry of Justice's recent interventions in the institution of the Masters, suspending a funder. This action presents a dangerous precedent”.
Hoti said these interventions reject all that support and negatively influence the conditions of doing business in Kosovo.
A business environment improves by providing security and legal clarity. For business it is vital that there be predictability in government executive actions and in economic policy and legal initiative”, Hoti said.
