This, they say, is necessary for physical health and also in the mental sense of children.
Currently in Kosovo there are 2 hours a week of physical education, while it is said that they have 5 hours a week in Croatia.
Lack of adequate physical activity and use of technology, according to representatives of the Faculty of Physical Education, are affecting children's obesity and other health problems as well.
Musa Selimi, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at the UP, said that the sites of children on this issue are critical and must be taken.
He said that from prudent parameters, the situation in children is disturbing.
He said two hours of physical education a week at schools are insufficient and that school hours should be added. He added that physical activity for children takes about 60 minutes a day.
And why are you asking for this meeting for? We parameters that we've measured have come to the conclusion that with the country of the region we are far away. In the latest research, 40 percent of our physical vitality, our children are less developed than others in the region. I think it's a critical situation. We've also implemented a project from the American Embassy and the data leads us to a critical situation. We've come to this problem for years we've been discussing it in different ways at different locations and meetings, but we've encountered in deaf ears”, he said.
