Tahiri has said they don't have much information on what happened with this process. He said they don't even have an idea for the amount of tools shared by AugustI for buying school equipment.
“The PDK under its commitment to Kosovo's parliament, we have proposed the founding of the Investigative Commission that there would be a parliamentary investigation into the financing of the books that took place during this period, so we still don't have a clear mirror of this period, and you know this is the first year from the Declaration of Independence that Kosovo students are not supplied with free books from the Kosovo government”, Tahiri said.
And we don't have a clear mirror if all students are equipped with books, have they gone to the right address. I still don't know what the amount spent on book compensation is, did this advance amount from the Ministry of Education exceed the size of the students, a huge nontransapprent process. We don't have transparency for sharing these tools as much as their total has reached or it's more than the amount that books were bought and they were going to be distributed for free and I think it's important that we don't let such proposals happen in the coming years. It is important to come in with a report and see how the epilogue of this matter has gone through, Tahiri said.
