PDK expects reconciliation of other parties for elections to be held on June 9th

Despite the expressed readiness to hold early elections, political parties have not yet been co-ordinated for how to reach them. The PDK has proposed on the first Sunday of June for holding them, while the AAK says that with the date proposal it cannot precede the process.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo expects other parties, including Vetevendosje, to join its proposal that early elections be held on June 9th.

Betim Joshi, secretary in the PDK, has called for the distribution of the Parliament to be initiated since the next session, thus heading for elections.

Yoshi has warned co-ordination with other opposition parties in this direction, unwilling to show whether it will be The PDK will lead this process.

But, with the PDK-backed proposal for distribution of the Parliament, AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj is not at odds.

According to him, before the date is discussed, parties should be co-ordinated for the way they go to the polls.

It is primarily Kurti's agenda, which falls to the PDK is complying with Kurti's request or having a coalition with Kurti on how to move forward towards elections”, Haradinaj has said.

In the current situation, when all political parties have been declared for early elections, but who do not agree on the way, according to Arton Demhaysit, a unifying role must have the president.

Demhayan has said that the differences parties have about how to get to the elections are their political calculations.
