The Navajo team faces difficulty organizing the funeral: No one is willing to wear his body.

With several hours remaining until Alexei Navally's funeral, his team has said they are continuing to face difficulties in organising the ceremony.

His spokeswoman, Kira Yarmysh, said they couldn't find an automobile that would carry his body to the church.

Unknown people are calling and threatening to take Alexei's body”, Yarmyshi said.

The farewell ceremony for Navajo will be held Friday in Moscow two weeks after dying in a prison, the BBC reported.

On Friday, the team announced that the ceremony would be held at 2: 00 a.m. in Moscow at the Church “Quench My Soroeas”.

The burial will then take place at Borisovskoye cemetery two hours later.

The ceremony will be broadcast directly to the Navy YouTube channel.

Navajo has suddenly died on February 16th in a criminal colony in the Arctic, where he was serving a prison sentence of more than 30 years total. The Kremlin has denied his family's claims that it killed Navajo.

Navajo's wife has declared this week that she was not sure if the event would pass peacefully, voicing doubts that police would arrest her husband's supporters. Lawyers have advised those planning to participate, to reduce the risk by not carrying banners, not wearing T-shirts with slogans, or by not falling prey to any “provocation”.
