Lajcak and Dodik met on Friday in the margins of the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.
I am pleased to have the chance to meet all three members of Bosnia's leadership as well as Mr. Dodik in Antalya. I underlined the essential importance of carrying out the reforms necessary for Bonsja to move forward on her European path in March. This is of vital interest to the entire country”, wrote Lajcak on Twitter.
Besides Dodik, Lajcak met with the other two members of the Bosnian Presidency, with which he discussed reforms needed for EU integration.
Dodik, also known as pro-rus leader, was sanctioned by the US on January 5th, 2022. The US has accused him of directly or indirectly violating, preventing or threatening that the Dayton Agreement would not be implemented, but also on charges that he is involved in corrupt activities.
Milorad Dodik has also been sanctioned by Great Britain.
