Krasniqi had come to the helm of the CRU “Gjakova” in January of 202250, just a few months after he had run the election as Vetevendosje Movement candidate, namely coalition partner Mimoza Kusari's alternative.
He was elected chief chief in spite of the fact that the same candidate for Asambliss in local elections held in October 2021 or about 3 months before he came to the helm of the water pipeline.
