Miftaraj from IKD: Prosecutor in the case of journalist Mehmetaj has made unforgivable professional error

Ehat Miftaraj from the Kosovo Institute for Justice has said the prosecutor in the case of journalist Lirim Mehmetaj, Rukije Shasivari has made an unforgivable professional mistake.

According to Miftaright the prosecutor has initiated a case belonging to the PRSK competencies.

Miftaraj has praised the approach of Pristina's chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor.

The Kosovo Journalists' Association has acknowledged with great concern the announcement by Albanian Post journalist Lirim Mehmetaj, of a call he has been made as a defendant by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina.

In calling for submissions on 7 March, Mehmetaj has been invited as a defendant for criminal work “inciting division and failure to face” by Article 141 of the KPR.
