Today I submitted the request for extraordinary hearings on behalf of 40 Parliament deputies for Thursday and this week. This session will review the proposal for the establishment of the parliamentary investigative commission for the one-year contract our parliamentary group has scheduled last Friday.
Albin Kurti's power, in only seven institutions, has misused over 150m euros of citizens' taxes through single-source contracts that are the source of corruption. This scandal must and will be investigated to the end. Not only these contracts but also the other millions of euros, whose expenses have been illegally made.
The parliamentary majority has the opportunity to vote on this commission and testify to the will to join in demanding accountability that Parliament should exercise. On the contrary, any attempt at blocking or rejecting this commission is clear evidence of panic and fear to confront facts and truth that will eventually prevail.
