AAKovina deputy Paul Lekaj, while commenting on the demands of the Kosovo Police Union, has called the government Kurti a fraud.
He in a proposal for Online Economics has said that “fraud has come and will by fraud go”, emphasising current governance.
“What counts with this government is not expected to hold any meetings or social dialogue because we've seen that these three years and I think that this is the worst blow to Kosovo's uniform from those 24 hours to offer security to citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and to be ignored this way by the government and the relevant ministry, it's meaningless, I think they're really lonely and will not make their demands, because this government is deceptive, and it's going to go away with a derux1>
MP The PDK, Rashit Qalaj, on the other hand has said the responsible institutions should sit down with the Police Union and find a solution.
“We are constantly hearing from the Police Union that there is no progress in implementing their demands, the right and much needed requirements for the Kosovo Police, it has really had to be a lot of meetings between the union and the Interior Ministry, the Police Management, and the Government to gradually begin to meet the demands of the police, usually a deal between the parties involved. I just saw a response to the union two, three days ago, they were expecting the Minister of Internal Affairs to invite them. I have no information on whether or not he invited them, but I think that they should urgently sit down and as soon as possible start implementing the required”, says Qalaj
