Chairman The PDK, Memli Kransiqi, has spoken of Prime Minister Albin Kurti's readiness to go to new elections. Krasniqi has said Kurti and his government have failed to fulfill promises and that citizens are already living worse. Krasniqi has expressed readiness to coordinate tomorrow for the date of the new elections, adding that citizens are now no longer with Prime Minister Kurti.
This is less important that Kurt is finally responding to my call from July last year. The PDK has an official position since July last year from that time gathering of our board of directors, where we have extended an invitation to Kurti and an offer to assist him through the distribution of the Parliament's legislature to go to the elections as soon as possible. To this day, we have the same purpose. We are convinced that Kurt and Government have failed to fulfill all their promises. Today citizens live worse than three years ago. There is an economy in stagnation, degraded education, public health in coughs, there are businesses that are scared and heavier most young people are seeking better perspective abroad”, Krasniqi said today before reporters.
Krasniqi has said the responsibility for these negative developments is Kurti's, as these more than three years he has ruled alone.
He said that citizens in large numbers today are not backing him, even though three years ago he received 51 percent, according to him, citizens are no longer with him.
Krasniqi has also stated that he is ready tomorrow to agree with political parties to set the date of elections and let citizens say the last words.
All these developments require response and responsibility. The prime minister's responsibility is that these three years he has governed alone, without any obstacle, with an almost complete control of Kosovo's power. Citizens of Kosovo in majority today do not support this government. They gave him the faith of 51 percent three years ago, but they are not with him today. It would be perfectly legitimate, initially for him, as prime minister to seek to return to the citizen to ask for their confidence. I am certainly ready tomorrow to agree with political forces, the date, and return to the citizen verdict, they are the last word for the location of the future government. I am convinced that the elections will be announced and will begin to be counted backwards for Albin Kurti as prime minister”, Krasniqi has declared.
