Kosovo and Vatican know each other, Konjufca says at meeting with the Apostolic Delegation of the Holy See

At the meeting, President Konjufca expressed his appreciation for advancing relations between the Vatican and Kosovo, already with the official establishment of the Special Mission of Kosovo at the Holy See.
Kosovo's “Reports with the Holy See have always been friendly and they must go towards mutual recognition as states”, Konjufca was quoted as saying at this meeting.
Similarly, the chief governor expressed his thanks and gratitude to Pope Francis II for his “support of the Catholic community in particular, but also to all of Kosovo's people in general”.
Both sides expressed consideration for the particular culture of tolerance and brotherhood that exists in Albanians of all religious beliefs.
“Chairman Konjufca stressed the willingness of the Kosovo Assembly to approve the fulfillments and changes in the Religious Freedoms Law, which have already been prepared, but their vote has been blocked by the boycott of Serbian List deputies in the Kosovo Assembly”, reportedly in the announcement issued by the Assembly of Kosovo.
The meeting with the Apostolic Delegation of the Holy See for Kosovo, Jean Marie Speich, also held Prime Minister Albin Kurti, accompanied by Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Hajrlla Ceku and Kosovo Representative for Contact with Holy Headquarters Vehbi Miftari.
Kurti has congratulated the guest for Easter while expressing his gratitude for the commitment of theefich Delegate.
The prime minister's media report says Kurti appreciated the Pope's will for deepening reports between Kosovo and Vatican.
The opening of the Special Mission of the Republic of Kosovo at the Holy See in January of this year, the prime minister singled out as an important development in the further approach to relations between the two countries.
He also reaffirmed the government's will to work closely with the Holy See in promoting human values and peace, along with bilateral reports.
