Kosovo government does not want to join the EU and NATO, they know the rules, but they violate them, says Von Crammon

Kosovo government lacks the political will for progress in the country's European integrations. According to her, in Kosovo they say they want to become members of NATO, the EU and the Council of Europe, but if someone knows the club's rules, he should play those rules instead of violating them.
She went on to say that the Kosovo government is currently not facilitating the lives of citizens at all, but is sending very mixed signals.
“International partners are tired of Pristina's inaction, and that led to the introduction of punitive measures by the EU last year”, she said.

The “all agree that there is a need for successful conclusion of dialogue for normalising Belgrade-Pristina relations”, she stressed.
It has also commented on the Central Bank decision of the Republic of Kosovo that cash transactions should be in euros as of February 1st.

According to the EP rapporteur, Kosovo is fully possible to join the EU, but it hopes to see a government working in the interest of people in the country achieve that goal.
The current reality is different and quite disappointing”, she added.
Von Croamon said that none of the EU mechanisms for dealing with such crises have been quite effective so far, and setting restrictive measures that directly affect the country's citizens would be unfair.
