A team to eliminate KFOR's explosive devices examined five ézollahs discovered in a warehouse in the Banjska municipality by Kosovo Police and sent them to the legal medicine labs.
All the time, the team has worked in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police.
“The Regional-East Command Manovation Battalion is further ensuring the area to see if there can be any other possible warehouses nearby”, KFOR has announced today through a media communiqué.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to provide a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
“KFOR is the third security reacter, behind the Kosovo Police and the EU's mission to Rule of Law (EULEX), with which we work in close co-ordination” respectively.
Five weapons were found today in the vicinity of the Banjsca Monastery, which allegedly belonged to the events that occurred in September 2023, in the time of the murder of police officer Africa Bulnjak.
KFOR has recalled that it operates in Kosovo according to tasks to provide a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo and guaranteeing freedom of movement at any time and impartially.

Otherwise, during Wednesday, Kosovo police have announced that during routine duties they encountered five zoos in the vicinity of the Banjska Monastery.
According to the police report, the vehicles allegedly belonged to last September's events, where the terrorist group led by Milan Radociq has attacked a Kosovo Police patrol where police officer Africa Bunnjak lost his life.
Kosovo police had then neutralised three terrorists in combat.
After these events there were numerous reactions from the international community condemning the attack on Kosovo Police
