(2 years ago)Today, a group of organisations will hand over indictments to the Pristina Constitutional Court on the Kosovo Assembly and LV deputy Labinote Demi Murtezi. According to the announcement, the Parliament and MP will be indicted for “cension of dignity, inhuman or degrading treatment and discrimination against persons LGBTIQ+ at the March 16th 2022” session. According to the announcement, the Parliament and MP will be indicted for “cension of dignity, inhuman or degrading treatment and discrimination against persons LGBTIQ+ at the March 16th 2022” session.
After that, at 11:30 a.m., the handover of the Anti-Discrimination and Uniting of the Dyscence of the LGBTIQ+ will be made during the Republic of Kosovo's House Seanca on March 16th 2022 in the Ombudsman Institute. The indictment and the complaint surrender on March 1st 2024 on International Day Against Discrimination”It says on notice.
Organisations that will hand in the indictment are the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Kosovo (YIHR KS), the Centre for Equality and Freedoms ( CEL Kosova, Centre for Development of Social Groups (CSGD), the Kosovar Centre for Gender Studies (QKSGJ) and Civil Rights Deunders.
