Students before the faculty's entry have even placed a chair with the inscription “R. I.P. Hygena”.
Likewise today, technical workers and physical security workers from the <x0th>Hasan Pristina” hold protests before the UPP reactor.
Ismet Krasniqi, chairman of the Student Organisation “Reforma”, said that today the students of this faculty will not hold lessons.
He said that as a student, they support the demands of workers who have entered the strike.
“We have organised a symbolic action boycotting the teaching process at the philosophical faculty all day, the reasons we've mentioned to the public response are the conditions of cleanliness in the UP's environments. Hygiene and purity at university and college shouldn't be a luxury, these are basic needs. We know that the technical staff is now on strike, we are hoping that their demands will be approved as soon as possible because and we as a student are assessing that the salary 250 euros is a salary which is really too low to cover all their expenses. During the past few weeks, we as a student have also tried to clean up the faculty without time, but as they can see, not two days pass that the state of uncleanness returns to its former condition because of the students. We've deliberately started with the philosophical faculty, we've been thinking of giving them time to solve the problem, this week we're going to lose our lesson only on Monday, if the requirements are not approved we'll continue with the other” faculty, he said.
