Hoxhaj: Serbia aims to shift municipalities to north to most tense point in Europe

Former Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj has participated in the organised conference the Kosovo Commission for Foreign Affairs and Diaspores of the Parliament, with support from the organisation Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Pristina, in which he talked about defence diplomacy, with focus on regional security challenges in promoting stability and construction [...]
Through a status on the social network Facebook, Deputy Speaker of the Enver Hoxhaj Assembly has shared part of his opinion on these issues that he gave to the conference.
“Today, we have finally entered a time when our thoughts are shaped by war, peace, and security as never before! If the war in Ukraine two years ago and the war in Gaza last year affected our perception, this year any Russian aggression against Moldova will keep the subject of war alive in our minds! Threats in Eastern Europe can often be carried to the Balkans, but Kosovo security threats have originated in Serbia, with Russian geopolitical support! “wrote Hoxhaj.
This is where I want to mention three concerns involving Kosovo and the region itself! First, violence in the north, the act of aggression in Banjska and the current situation show that Serbia aims to turn municipalities north of Kosovo into the most nervous, tense security point in Europe, outside Ukraine!”, Hoxhaj has written away.
MP The PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, further said it sees key in the country's north the restoration of the political process of elections, with the Serb community participating in police institutions, rule of law and justice! “Today, it is an institutional vacuum, whether in relation to the Serb population with municipalities in the north or the institutional vacuum of the local Serbs' report with the government and central institutions! ”, written away.
“S second, dialogue with Serbia is seen as important not only for normalisation of interstate reports, but also for regional security, which can only be reached through a non-basic but comprehensive agreement, with mutual recognition as final agreements! Third, Kosovo's state-building must definitely be closed and without that happening, as the basic precondition of security, Kosovo's top priority and our partners should be NATO membership.”, Enver Hoxhaj wrote away on Facebook.
