So Haradinaj has said on the 25th anniversary of Czech NATO entry, at the photo exhibition organised by the Czech Embassy in Kosovo.
Haradinaj said 25 years ago, on March 12th, Czechia, along with Poland and Hungary, became the first countries by the former Warsaw Pact to join NATO. This event adds, changed the course of history for both Czech and NATO.
“12 days after membership, these states joined democratic states at the helm with America in the 78-day bombing campaign on Serbian targets to end Milosevic's criminal regime. Today I had the honour of joining Ambassador Cheek, Behumil Mazànek at the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition “5 years of the Czech Republic in NATO””, Haradinaj has said.
Haradinaj has added that Kosovo aims to be a regional and global security provider by being a NATO member.
“Like Kosovo, we should aim to return to regional and global security providers, through active engagement, as a member side by side with the armies of NATO states led by America”, Haradinaj has indicated.
