Kosovo police control 14 locations and seize a considerable amount of weapons and ammunition from different calibres
Kosovo police, namely, the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Red Crimes as a result of the destruction of a criminal group that had been carried out last year (02.10.2023), where three suspected persons were arrested in the continuation of international co-operation, in connection with the case of Germany, have continued investigations this year.
The Organised Crime Unit has continued with intensive investigative activities, with the date 13,03.24, 14,03.2024 and 15,03.2024, conducted a police operation at several different locations at the country level, related to allegations of criminal work “Import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, unauthorized exchange or sale of weapons or plastic” from Article 364 of KPR.
In this police operation carried out under the court's ordinance, 14 locations under which a considered amount of weapons and ammunition of various calibres have been checked.
Kosovo police remain committed to investigating and uncovering all criminal acts in the country, as with particular emphasis on those within the framework of international co-operation.
