The chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Thomas Szunyog, has said the investigation into the September 24th attack on Banjska could last for years.
He says all are waiting from Serbia to investigate, prosecute and bring to justice all those suspected of taking part in the terrorist attack, where one Kosovo police officer and three Serb attackers died.
The chief of the EU Office made these comments on KTV.
“We are expecting Serbia as a candidate state negotiating for EU membership to have an independent law and justice rule that is capable, I say again, investigate, accuse and condemn all responsible. We have seen only one report, called the initial report that was distributed by the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I believe in October last year. We have not seen anything beyond it, and with what I understand in Kosovo the investigation may last for years -- 18x1> -- it has been expressed.
