By Enver Petrovci, these are Albanian actors who participated in Serbian propaganda films

Propaganding films are cinematographic products designed to spread deliberate messages or ideology. Their goal is to influence public opinion, convince the audience of a specific purpose, promote political, social, or cultural ideology, or demonstrate a certain version of history or events.
These films are often used by governments, political organisations, interest groups, or other entities to reinforce and spread their messages.
For example, for the time of the Cold War, propagandizing movies are often used to promote the ideology and values of a conflict member and to demonize the opponent.
And when we are in the demonstration of opponents, Serbia is known for its super-developed cinematography in this respect.
Tens of films, documentaries and reports have been produced in Serbia and still continue to be launched with the aim of distorting historical events, presenting themselves as <x0vikviktima” and opponents such as “agreers”.
Ironically, these cinematographic products have, on occasion, been attached to Albanian actors who, with their art, contributed to the spread and disinformation of the public by acting in anti-Albanian scenarios.
A 2024 Serbian propaganding cinematographic project against Kosovo, dubbed “Russian Consult”, has been joined by three Albanian actors -- Enver Petrovci, Mensur Safqiu and Visar Viska.
But this is just the latest participation of our actors in Serbian film products.
Back in retrospect, 9 years ago you have made such a gesture as actor Chun Lajci, who had participated in Serbian film “Enklave”
Lajci, who began his career in the past century, and over that period had been twice chosen “Serbia's best actor” at the “Joakim Vujiq” he agreed to play an Albanian's role in the 2015 film run by Goran Radovanovic.
The film addresses the story of a Serbian child forced to go to school under tanks, as he lives in a Kosovo village forced to be isolated because of war history.
The access of the film generally shows Albanians living in Kosovo as aggressors and the main reason why Serbs still live in the so-called “laeva”.
Chun plays the role of Muslim, aggressive Albanian, who hunts Christian monks and innocent “” Serbs from Kosovo's holy land.
Lajci's participation had in time prompted numerous reactions, until harsh criticism of his performance in “has been addressed towards the famous actor. Enklave”
But, like some of his colleagues, he had not even felt guilty about participating in this movie, his response to commentators was even more severe.

I have to say two words about my role in the Serbian film énklava because they recently started writing hard about my engagement in this film and about my role, which I consider to be biased and unfair”, Lajci wrote.
“First, the artist has no need to explain his commitments and why he should play and what roles the artist should accept or not accept”, he added.
And I'm not sorry at all. I'm an actor with great potential and will play every place they call me, and not even in Serbia”, he had written away Lajci, giving the green light for future possible collaborations with Serbian cinematists.
The propaganda film in which Lajci participated was the film chosen by Serbia as a proposal for “Oscars” for the best foreign-language film category, but this cinematographic production failed to become part of the nominations.
Anyway, “Enklava” without prizes did not fail to triumph at the European festival “Napoli Film Festival” by snatching the top prize, that of the Best “”.
Fate or disaster, you judge it, but the tradition of participating in propaganding movies against Albanians is being continued by exactly the latter.
Albanian Post, wrote yesterday an article on the participation of Petrovci, Vishka Safqit in the film “Russian Consult”.
Of course, for Petrovci this was not the first time to participate in a film of this nature he is known for his roles in the Serbian scene, as well as his notorious statements.
Petrovci has recently made headlines with a statement said on Adelaline Ismaili's show, broadcast on Radio Television of Kosovo, where he publicly insulted former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders (UÇK).
Raising the image of current Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Petrvoci has used derogatory languages against former KLA leaders, questioning their future if “war did not exist”.
These guys are born of time. War has done these. These had never been, unless they were at war. They were gonna be teachers. They had never been anything. They had passed by us... on television they could get ash. These are the ones whose time is up. Albin became himself”, Petrovci said otherwise.
In the meantime, Safqiu may have surprised the audience with this step he took, but he may now make more sense of his role in comedy when presented as “Zhivko”.
Even Safqiu has been divided into one of the main roles in the “Russian Consult”, playing side by side with his Serbian colleagues across the border.

The film addresses the history of a Serbian psychiatrist, Ilija Jugovic, who after a death of a patient in Belgrade, is sentenced to move to Prizren, where a doctor's career continues.
In Prizren, Jugovic meets a self-declared patient as the Russian “Consult”, a fan of Serbian nationalist motto “Kosovo will again become Serbia”.
The “in this film is about a character who is a Serbian psychiatrist named Ilija Jugovic, after the death of his patient in Belgrade, heads to Prizren, Kosovo, under the condemnation of the Party, where he is employed as a general physician at a local hospital. There he meets with history professor Ljubo Bozovic, the self-declared Russian Consult, a patient apparently with psychic problems, who claims that soon “Russia will become Russia again, and Kosovo will become Serbia”, says the description of film history.
In the “Russian Consul”, Halit Berisha -- an Albanian who “appoints Serbs from Kosovo with cruel pressure, as well as exercises violence against Serbian children and causes a host of other problems against them”.
“Against it returns powerful local Albanians, fugitive separatists, also members of the Communist Party and Quadro in office. The most powerful of them, Halit Berisha, expels Serbs from Kosovo with various cruel pressures: exercising violence against Serb children in schools, scares the local population, prevents them from taking health care, molests families, puts them in uncertainty and anxiety. So, turn has come to Ljubo Bozovic, whom Berisha is trying to get out of the house and take away from Kosovo. The Russian Consult refuses to sell the house and clashes with Berisha. Dr. Ilija Jugovic stands under his protection”, the description of the history of the propagandizing film is further said.
Whether they participated in these Serbian films for economic reasons or for the pleasure point by exploiting the clothing of acting as a shield against public criticism, one thing is certain. These Albanian actors contributed to the spread of Serbian propaganda but against Albanians. /Albanianpost
