“duplication for child smuggling” - All known so far for the arrest in Bulgaria of Chief Chief of CRU “Gjakova”

On Friday it was reported that the chief executive of the Regional Water Company “Gjakova”, Hasan Krasniqi, was arrested two weeks ago in Bulgaria because it was required by INTERPOL.

Linked to these reports, Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement on Telegrafi confirmed that Hasani has been arrested in Bulgaria.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore of the Republic of Kosovo stressed that “in support of official information accepted by the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo H.K. (Hasan Krasniqi) was detained on February 19th, 2024 at the border checkpoint Atjeshevo.

The MPJD further stressed that citizens of the Republic of Kosovo are being detained because the same person is supposed to be an INTERPOL fugitive.

 During Friday day, officials from “CRU” Gjakova claimed Hasan Krasniqi is on an annual vacation.

“The chief chief is on an annual vacation”, the company said briefly, giving no additional information.

Meanwhile, KALLXO.com learns that there was an international arrest warrant from Italy for smuggling with minors.

According to information which the portal contains Krasniqi allegedly carried out illegal organisation, namely smuggling with minors.

Information shows that Krasniqi had been introduced as a false associate and plotting with other persons, had organised and smuggled into minors.

This, since the same suspect, allegedly with the intention of illegal entry into Italy, has simulated participation of the same ones in several sports tours, with the aim of profiting Schengen visa for sporting purposes.

Hasan Krasniqi has been the candidate of the Vetevendosje Movement for the Gjakova Municipal Assembly.
