The new United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargrees, has published a special video about starting service in Kosovo. While emptying the case, it extracts a fan of the Kosovo National and a souvenir of the monument “Newborn”. Then he first introduces himself in Albanian, then in the language [...]
Then he first introduces himself in Albanian, later in English, says the last time in Kosovo was in 2001. Ambassador Hargrees says he has dreamed of turning the future into a peaceful, prosperous and secure Kosovo.
Hi, I'm Jonathan Hargrees. I have just arrived in Kosovo as the new ambassador of the United Kingdom. It's an honor. I'm so happy to live in this inspiring place! I can't wait to meet you. My family and I are excited to explore Kosovo's magnificent mountains and villages, sports, arts and culture. We already love food and drink. Above all, I want to recognise all Kosovo communities and admire Kosovo's very diverse and diverse culture. For the first time in Kosovo, I came to Kosovo in 2001 when I was working at the U.K. Department of International Development. Of course, at that time many people were in deep trauma. Kosovo institutions were led by local and international officials, and Kosovo's future remained uncertain. On the other hand, even then the coffee was excellent and people were cute, firm and ready. And I dreamed of returning to the future to a peaceful, prosperous and secure Kosovo. So it is a pleasure to be here today, and it is no surprise that in the years after my first visit, Kosovo has made amazing progress towards being a modern, democratic, European and multiethnic state”, he said, among other things. Finally, Ambassador Hargreaves said a few words in Albanian.
It is a great privilege to be here to represent His Majesty the King and the people of the United Kingdom by forming the future together. Thank you for your hospitality. I'll see you soon!
