Dinari and Association, Hill says Escobar in Pristina delivered strict and clear orders

US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill has said the ban on using the dinar in Kosovo is a major problem of actuality.

He in an interview for Euronews.rs has said this issue is necessary to be resolved.

There are some problems that need to be solved, and the question of stopping the use of the dinar is fresh and perhaps more difficult. However, the fundamental issue that needs to be resolved and which was agreed on in the past is the Association of Serbian municipalities”, Hill said.

The US envoy for the Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, was in Kosovo and conveyed strict and clear messages to the Kosovo leadership”.

Hill says that with the establishment of the Association, other problems would be solved other than the dinar, such as those of parallel structures.
