The Kosovo government, led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has ordered Kadastrin to register the property to the Decani Monastery. This Kurti made it public on Wednesday, while the following day at the Decani Monastery visited Emisari Gabriel Escobar, who shot Kosovo when this decision was made.
Escobar praised Kurt for crossing the land to the monastery, but from Decani there is still no reaction or from the Diocese of Raska and Prizren, which is the main institution of the Orthodox Church in Kosovo. From the monastery they announced Escobar's visit.
“Bishop Teodosije and the Iguman of Decani A. Sava, welcome Deputy Assistant Secretary Mr. Escobar. It was an important opportunity to discuss the challenges facing the Church #Orthodox #Serbe and the Kosovo Serb community. We are grateful to ZNS Escobar and Ambassador Havenier for their continued support and understanding” says in the announcement.
Otherwise, the Decani Monastery has also published an Escobar interview, where it demanded that the dinar issue be resolved because, as he said, the Serb community is suffering and that the US will hold the Government of Kosovo accountable according to how it handles this community. The monastery has also distributed a news of local Serbian media on changing settlements in the north.
