The chief of the OSCE Office in Kosovo, Michael Davenport, has reacted after the Kosovo government has received an initiative to remove billboards across the northern streets and throughout the country, which are written in Cyrillic.
Davenport said O The SEU supports the Language Commissioner at the Prime Minister's Office in determining respect for linguistic compatibility under legislation in force.
He has said steps to replace the tables should follow consultation with his office.
“Steps for replacing signs showing names of locations in official languages should follow consultation with his” office, Davenport wrote.
