Two Croatian tourists have been hit today in May of Jezerca, where one of them allegedly lost his life and the other injured.
Top Channel reports that the two foreign citizens have slipped in the vicinity of the Jezerca lakes. One of them called for help, claiming that the partner had passed away.
To their aid, the search group of mountain rescues and volunteer residents from Valbona have been launched.
Snow has become the cause of the accident, and weather temperatures make it too slippery.
The head of Jezerca is the highest peak in the Dinarik Alps, the fourth highest in Albania and the sixth highest in the Balkans, at 2,694m above sea level.
