Kalaba announced that during the time of the bombing, she stayed in France.
“We were located in France and we flew over the area and what's important is that we refueled planes during the flight to help Kosovo, and for me that was the most wonderful thing”, Kalaba said.
Asked if she had ever previously imagined that the time would come for her to stage bombings on Serbia to free Kosovo, she said I had no such feeling, while explaining in which cases such shares of the Air Force could be made.
Otherwise, Faruza Kalaba was born in Damascus, Syria, on 3 November 1956 by Albanian father Hakki Kalaba of Kamenica origin, and Ukrainian mother Ana Senkiewitz.
