Cocaine, marijuana, first weapon, police detail what seized operations in Prizren, Peja and Gjakova

In the first case, police operation has been conducted in the Prizren and Gjakova region.

As a result of several months of investigation based on the written warrant issued by the competent court, on 28.03.2024 The directorate for Narcotic Trafficking Investigation with its subordinate units in Prizren and Gjakova, as well as in NRS and Criminal Forces assistance, have conducted checks on the property of three Kosovo male suspects.

As material evidence during this operation has been seized evidence as follows: plastic bags of suspected cocaine-type narcotics (of total weight 487.96 gram), two electronic scales, three plastics, one aluminum role, two sticky tapers, a plastic bag with suspected narcotic substance of the marijuana type 0.95 grams, three mobile phones, a 49 - bullet gun, a car with local license plates.

The media report reported that in connection with the case, one suspect is on the run, while two of the other suspects have been interviewed in the presence of defence lawyers, and following a decision interview on the ban by the state prosecutor have been detained for 48 hours.

The second case is in the Pec region.

The Narcotic-Pece Trafficking Investigation Unit after an operational investigative work on the field, in 28.03.2024 in Pec, has detained Kosovo male car suspect (local license plates).

To the suspect, a routine check has been conducted in a pack of cigarettes that has been found 3 joints (a cigarette wrapped with Marijuana) in the weight of 2.3 grams.

“In consultation with the prosecutor is also checked the residence of the high-ranking suspect in the presence of his lawyer, where, during the search at the apartment, he has been found: an amount of the suspected narcotic substance of the type of Marihua in weight of 28.01 grams, a tent for the preparation/braging of marijuana, 16 seeds of the type Cannabis Sveta, two glass glasses with a liquid allegedly to be the 50mm weight weighted Canabis Svil, nine suspected of being planted with Sabi seeds, and money worth 34.752 euros, reports said.

Regarding the case, the suspect has been interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney, and a decision by the guardian prosecutor has been issued on the 48-hour ban.
