Campaign's deputy attack with hammer

Leonid Volkov, former head of the Alexei Navajo Anti-Corruption Foundation, has been attacked outside his home in Lithuania.

Navalny's press secretary, Kira Yarmysch, stated that the assailant broke Volkov's car window and sprinkled tear gas in his eyes before constantly hitting him with a hammer.

Jarmych said an ambulance and order forces were on their way to the scene in Vilnius, writes medusa.

The current director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Ivan Xhudanov, also reported the attack, writing that “Leonid Volkov was attacked with a hammer. He's alive. Later we'll have more details”.

According to journalist Sergey Parkhomenko, Volkov lives in a small village in Lithuania.

This means this is not a random hooligan on the street or a thief. This is one person who went there specifically to attack Volkovin”, Parkhomenco wrote on the telegram.
