BQK leads to citizens: Accept the euro in bank accounts, save it in any currency

Several days ago, the Kosovo Central Bank has prepared a 10-point plan in terms of its new regulation for cash operations. Based on this plan, the regulation under which it is envisioned that payments in Kosovo be made only for euros, and that is prohibited from being made with a dynar [...]
Based on this plan, the regulation under which it is envisioned that payments in Kosovo be made only with euros, and such a thing is prohibited from being done with a dinar should be implemented in a deadline of up to three months.
Besides, the CEC has already launched a new method of awareness among citizens. It has also begun to launch SMSs on every citizen's phones by applying them to accept only euros in bank accounts, since it has announced that exchange and savings can be made in any currency.
Dear citizens, accept money through the Euro bank account. Save your feet any way you can. Open your accounts with basic services, no opening and maintenance fee. 080022255 https://bit.ly/0800 Call the BQK”, writes on SMS.
Besides, the CEC has prepared another plan for the same issue, so the dinar.
The following are the ten points of this plan:
Functioning Free Phone (0800-222-55), e-mail for complaints, as well as the number dedicated to ʹviber)
Facilitating conditions for opening bank accounts, in specific cases in Serb majority municipalities, especially in four northern municipalities, with the possibility of completing documents (the address evidence) even after the opening and activating of the account
The provisional suspension of the CEC's fee applicable for opening branches/Zes, to encourage nonbank financial institutions (with exchange emphasis) licensed for opening offices in Kosovo's majority Serb municipalities, especially in four northern municipalities
Enhancing presence with nonbank bank branches for additional branch coverage and increased financial service delivery in northern municipalities in the country
Organising the delivery of bank services (calculation opening) by commercial banks (remote Banking) in each of the four northern municipalities with the aim of being as close to citizens as possible
Setting up several ATMs (ATM) as well as other electronic payment devices (POS), or financial self-services
Relief of the dinars exchange process with EURO from financial institutions and licensed exchanges
Continued promotional activity, with personal and simplified materials, video messages, and focused financial education
Increasing access to finance, further growth of credit and other financial packages focused on these areas by financial institutions
Reviewing the terms of converting with preferential treatment during accepting funds and withdrawing (ATM) with international schemes cards issued outside Kosovo
These actions are undertaken in addition to constructive engagement, in facilitating the vehicle transfer mechanism more effectively from Serbia to Kosovo, through already recognised bank accounts and models, presented in the letter of the CEC proposal, with readiness to consider any option.
This plan contributes especially to citizens with limited access to finance and financial services, and enables increased access to secure finances through banks and nonbank financial institutions, financial inclusion and financial protection from unconventional financial activities, as the CEC's continued commitments on the basis of best European practices.
