Earlier, Emisari Lajcak met with Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi.
Among the topics to be discussed at meetings under way in Brussels will be the dinar issue as well.
Today, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti declared for REL that “has no proposals that are accepted by us that are contrary to the new BQC regulation”.
The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has stressed that it is necessary to reach a reconciliation on the implementation of the new Kosovo Central Bank regulation, with which the circulation of the dinar is prohibited.
Osmani before the media has said that for part of the American emissary's proposal, Gabriel Escobar, there is compliance.
While last week, in an interview given Radio Free Europe, US Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar has declared that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti refused to suspend the BEC regulation until the EU, the US and Kosovo Government find a long-term solution, as would be the electronic transfer of euros through the Kosovo system.
A day earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell has warned that the EU will continue pressure on the two countries to implement the agreement reached a year ago for normalising relations.
After a year of reaching this agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Borrell has stressed that, unlike expectations, implementation of the agreement has not been made.
There have already been 365 days since Kosovo and Serbia reached the Agreement in Ohrid for implementation of the European proposal for normalisation of relations.
