LDK Deputy Chairman Hykmete Bajrami has suggested that Kurti Government is corrupt in all sectors.
It has shown that it testifies to the granting of hundreds of single-source tenders, which amount to 209m euros.
The LDK MP has estimated that the first three years of governance have collapsed all myths of power vision.
In this interview given the Nacional newspaper, Bajrami has said the ruling VV has come promising miracles.
According to her, in these three years it has proved that Kurti Government is a deceitful government.
Bajrami has stressed that so far the government has not fulfilled any of its commitments.
Speaking of the large number of single-source tenders, Bajrami has said it shows the deep level of corruption in this government.
The former finance minister has suggested that the LDK will run through the issue.
It has shown that they have already collected signatures for establishing a Parliamentary Investigative Commission on the issue.
In this interview, LDK deputy chairman has also talked about Kosovo's reports with the United States and the latest messages of emissary Gabriel Escobar for Kosovo.
INT PLOSE ERVIS:
Question: Bajrami, you have recently raised with great concern the issue of tenders a source in Kurti Government. How disturbing is this phenomenon in this mandate?
Bajrami: There is a total of 209m euros with 781 contracts this Government has awarded to direct negotiations during this mandate. The LVV has come to power with “the flame of anti-corruption” and with many other promises no one has made. The single-source tenders or contracts with free reporting of the contract are a source of corruption, because the budget organisation calls an operator and gives the tender without putting it in the race with others. There are corruption-based allegations and violations of the Law on Public Procurement, in such cases there are damage to fair competition in the market economy, there is misuse of public money, and this is very disturbing.
Question: The emergency parliamentary session, where you proposed a resolution, was also held on Thursday. However, she was opposed by the ruling party, which also abandoned the hall. Why do you think the VV went out?
Bajrami: Their departure from the hall is inability to face facts, and this is not the first time LVV releases the hall when it is debated about such things. Now imagine the party nearing 60 deputies when facing the facts of corruption issues the hall, which shows where they have become. Before this time, they even released the hall when it was a power dispute, because they don't have what to say, they took the votes, promising to release electricity, and we all know that the price of electricity doubled. It happened on Thursday, when they know that they have received the vote with “anti-corruption volume”, and when the Public Procuration Regulatory Commission proves that their government has awarded 781 contracts worth 209m euros for friends and friends, it is almost impossible to stay in the hall.
Question: Why do you think you're giving so many single-man tenders in this government?
Bajrami: Public Procure Law allows contracts with direct negotiation only in specific cases, such as when for a job, goods or service is only an bidder or in capital investment cases when some things are not envisioned in the initial contract and to complete the project can become an annex contract worth 10% of the initial contract, but if we look at data provided by the Public Procurement Commission there comes up that of the 781 contracts a central level stem rate is only 113 contracts in value of 7 million euros, while 668 contracts are seen at 20 million euros worth, and I'm holding each of the 66m in charge of these contracts, and there's only one of the government's very perforcing and the cost of the country's perforcing.
Question: You have said the VV has come to power on the anti-corruption flag, while now it has become the government that has awarded hundreds of single-source tenders. What does that say about Kurti Government?
Bajrami: Yes, they have come to power with deception, promised miracles to citizens, and during these three years proved to be deceptive. They have not fulfilled any promises, not one of them, but are also trying to establish that they are working that they are not willing to be corrupted, but the facts are pointing to the contrary.
The Kurt II government has not worked, but for corruption they are leading in every area. Just look at the data presented by the CRPP.
Question: What will the LDK do to stop this phenomenon?
Bajrami: We have some points in the resolution, but the resolution is not expected to be voted because we need the majority in a vote where 61 MPs are participating, but by Thursday we have received the signatures to form the Parliamentary Investigative Commission. We strongly believe that the debate that is taking place these days, the facts presented have also attracted the attention of the Prosecutor and that this phenomenon will be addressed by the competent organs in a meritably.
Question: Bajrami, emissar of Gabriel Escobar during a visit to Kosovo, relates that he has failed to convince the prime minister of the dinar issue and that reports between the two countries are not at the right level. What is your assessment of the matter?
Bajrami: Seeing Kurt's move in the past three years is evident that Kurti will also be attracted to the dinar, but it is unforgivable that an issue that would naturally be resolved with the bankruptcy of “Commercial Bank” became the topic of the Security Council and now the dialogue in Brussels. The degradation of Kosovo's reports with allies is of great and irreparable cost to the country, and that is the biggest damage Kurt is doing to Kosovo.
Question: The American diplomat also suggested that Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe will not be easy, adding that two other conditions must be met for membership. Is there any government responsibility if Kosovo fails to join this organisation?
Bajrami: Of course, Kurt's government is responsible, not just for this. The rate with its whims is responsible for taking visa liberalisation by 7 years late, is responsible for the degradation of dialogue where mutual recognition exists neither in theory, is responsible for Kosovo's accepting a draft Association status that leads to autonomy, for sanctions against Kosovo, however unfair it may seem to us, and remember that its cogility has brought only damage because after each decision has been withdrawn, but at great cost to the country. Just mention of elections in the north for the dismissal of mayors: what with sovereignty there, with the flag, with Lulzim Hetem standing six months in the building.
Now Kurt has surrendered and is organising elections for the dismissal of sovereignty and later elections to return where they were two years ago. Kurt and his government are responsible for all this.
