Robinson said the US supports Kosovo improve structures [...]
Robinson said the US supports Kosovo to improve its judicial and security structures, while Osmani said the support of the United States has been present at every step of Kosovo's construction state.
Osmani, among other things, also said that Kosovo's membership in the International Police Organisation (INTERPOL) is impossible without continued US support.
According to her, membership in INTERPOL would increase Kosovo's capacities so that institutions can improve the response to crime and strengthen our commitment to public safety for every citizen of our Republic, indiscriminately”.
The only ones who benefit from Kosovo's non-membership in INTERPOL are criminals, in particular transnational criminal groups. It is the will and common will of Kosovo and the United States that they fight to the end and without compromise”, Osman said.
Osmani thanked the US Bureau of Narcotics and Law Implementation Issues for Support and said this institution has helped establish many institutions in Kosovo, including the Kosovo Police and the Forenzic Agency.
