This institution is expected to decide on whether to transition to SPAK or not to this issue.
Present at the session are Mark Nica, Alex Nica's uncle, and Raymonda Nica's widow, who is accompanied by their lawyer, Idajet Beqiri.
In his address to the court, lawyer Beqiri said the confession made by Alex Nica's family has concrete names, including former senior officials who are the competence of the SPAK. So he appealed to pass the case to the Special Prosecutor.
“Pass this issue to SPAK. Our criminal charge is for concrete persons, there are persons who are competent to be tried by the JCKKO and SPAK investigation subjects. The Tirana prosecution is not competent in the matter. The SPAK has played the indictees for our confession. The SPAK removed the family's sneezing with an escort letter. It was an obvious crime, we also handed over to you the Strasburg court ruling. Strasburg says state murder, including the former prime minister. You see Strasburg but not SPAK, it's not the bodyguard, the soldier, who does and organizes a state crime. SPAK has opened a dangerous precedent”, lawyer Idajet Beqiri said at the session.
We remember that on February 16th, 2023 the family members of the January 21st victims have presented criminal complaints to Sali Berisha, Lulzim Basha, Ndrea Prendit and Agim Llupos.
At that, the SPAK prosecutor decided to send a complaint to the Tirana prosecution for injury. The SPAK ruling has filed complaints to the victims' families, rejecting it. On March 29, 2023 JCKKO has decided to reject the complaint. Meanwhile, June 22, 2023 The Special Court of Appeals has ruled by the JKKO that had dropped the family complaint. /euronews. al
