When confirmed officially, Orav will replace current Ambassador Thomas Szunyog in Pristina.
The future chief of the EU office in Kosovo has experience in the Western Balkans region, as he earlier served as chief of the European bloc's delegation in northern Macedonia and Montenegro.
Under the changes, Italian diplomat Louis Sorca is expected to become chief of the EU delegation to Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Italian diplomat has been the bloc's ambassador to Albania. /REL
