The activist who shot the criminal wall with eggs: I also expect expulsion from Serbia

Serbia activist Aida Cherovic will be put in jail. The decision was taken after it was in protest of deglorification that Serbia is making to war criminals, laid eggs on Ratko Mladic's wall in downtown Belgrade. She says egging in the Serbian criminal's portrait is equal to [...]
She says egg shooting in the Serbian criminal's portrait is equivalent to shooting a bomb in Serbia.
“Ratko Mladic promotes himself as Serbia's hero and defender. The same after which I will repeat, these acts: genocide, involvement in genocide, persecution on the political, religious and national grounds as a crime against humanity, extermination as a crime against humanity, murder as a crime against humanity, murder as a crime against humanity, violation of the laws and customs of war, deportation of people as a crime against humanity, inhuman acts of forced crime (transference against humanity) as a crime, the illegal terrorization of civilians, murder, cruel treatment, inhumane acts of civilians, attacks on civilians, and finally, hostage of”, Cocivar wrote in a text.
She says in addition to prison she expects to be expelled from Serbia. “After this verdict, it is quite certain that any hot-hearted chauvinist will have an alibi to expel me from Serbia and give me a round-trip ticket to Sarajevo or Istanbul, no matter how little I have to do with both”.
“Except for Slobodan Milosevic, the same team is now cutting Serbia's hat and I really sometimes wonder if anyone normal in this country believed that those who are behind tens of thousands of deaths of the other “will not continue their bloody holiday against their “ ”, ” in somewhat changed circumstances and in many more perfect”.
This is her full writing:
There is something comforting about the conclusion. Waiting is the hard part, and the outcome, the news of an end, end, etc., even if it's bad, provides a kind of tranquillity that comes to us while we wait. Waiting does not allow us to plan, nor in the short term, nor does the outcome, even when the news of the imminent end is part of the finality, provides the necessary framework in which man can decide his future life. Such recent news came to me these days, and although I did not take hold and charge myself with the implications that will follow such news, he brought some relief, although the news is very bad in my opinion.
Those who attended events related to “bomb attack” with eggs on the wall where convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic appeared, know what I'm talking about. So, a few days ago, after the Belgrade appeals court ruling, I received a call to serve my prison sentence because I am guilty of disrupting order and public calm.
However, what is largely silenced by the general public in Serbia are the facts of who he was and why he was first condemned, i.e. left bloody traces of the ongoing war crimes: genocide, genocide, persecution on the political, religious and national grounds as a crime against humanity, extermination as a crime against humanity, murder as a crime against humanity, murder as violations and customs of war, deportation of people as a crime against humanity, inhuman acts (strongly transferred) as crimes against humanity, the illegal terrorisation of civilians, the killings, cruel treatment, inhumane acts, attacks on civilians, and finally, the taking of hostages.
This man and his terrible legacy, through a very poor exposure to the wall in more than two years, became a symbol of a Serbia adapted to the government that is at its helm, but, I am afraid, also a symbol of most of Serbia, which almost to the end, washed its brains and stripped it of all power to think and reason.
There is no doubt that this and this verdict of the criminal court in Belgrade is a political act that has two aspects “ukative” The first is certainly the one dealing with strictness training and the threat to all who think. against the neofashist methods of governance. So by this way of punishing one or several activists, there is zero tolerance for civil disobedience, and we who dared to reject such a position of power, will be making sacrifices by example whose message will be sent to all others.
The second level of this judgment refers to the fact that I am being condemned as a woman, then as a person who does not belong to any lobbi or organised circle of citizens of Serbia, I am alone and therefore a phenomenal target (I only have I am in my circles of female solidarity with me), and I am also a member of a minority nation.
Even though that part of my identity was one of the least important (almost insignificant) to me, it is now used as an argument in calculating the assimilation and silence of members of minority nations in Serbia. Because it's always easier to point the finger at a Bosniak, an Albanian, a Croat, etc., and accuse us of hating Serbs and the Serbian people and so thickly, even more harsh nationalist and chauvinist public opinion.
After this verdict, it is quite certain that every hot-headed chauvinist will have an alibi to expel me from Serbia and give me a round-trip ticket to Sarajevo or Istanbul, regardless of how little I have to do with both. But that's not rational explanations, logic has long since left the citizens of Serbia, to a “argument” slightly more irrational than it can only fuel even more the nationalistic passions of self-declared patriots.
The trial that was left in force by the appeals court was issued at the end of November (if I remember well) and from that time until the next day when the call came for the prison sentence, authorities in Serbia demonstrated another side of themselves satisfaction in blaming the victim and feeling of uncertainty about implementing the sentence.
The psychopathic part of our president's personality and the essential owner of Serbia reaches its full capacity under such circumstances, because he allows his victims to wait for the execution of the decision; he holds them in limbo and forces them to be disturbed by the possibility of receiving the call every day. Sadistic life is a key feature of the character of the first man in our country. He doesn't even try to pretend to be different. In that sense, he also let me wait for a call to prison and for how long that call would have lasted if I hadn't been invited to the left-wing and anti-fascist Rebedu festival in Dubrovnik last week and said, perhaps even sharply, that Aleksandar Vuciq painted criminals with whom, at many levels, is inextricably involved in multiple mafia relatives. And that his life can only be threatened by people like that, never by people like me and Zoran Kesic (who spoke with me at that forum).
The same evening, the rotation and twist of what I said began (no matter how raw my qualifications) and the media under the authorities unanimously lied that I had called for the murder of Alexander Vuciqi. Last week, prosecution, rotation and explosive lies have no stopping, Vucinq costs me a large part of his press conference, underlining that I am a trivial person. Because our president's other dominant characteristic is revenge and the inability to endure for someone to speak out publicly about his inactions, the invitation to serve his prison sentence was expected, and now it is no doubt Alexander Vuchick's personal revenge for everything I do. and I speak, and it is directed against his perverse and criminal government.
However, what remains when all levels of propaganda are removed, this government with its attitude toward war crimes and war criminals of the 1990 ' s, stripped it of its essence and legitimized it as modus operandi and the continuation of evil and hatred. formed in the period when they were killed massively, deported, robbed, massacred, violated... all of them and those who did not enter the matrix of “national purity” and the great Serbian idea. Because all those who in the early 1990s financed, created and encouraged war and what would come with it as a result of chauvinistic passions and the theory of blood and soil are still in power all the same dark faces, all the same war.
Besides Slobodan Milosevic, the same team is now cutting off Serbia's hat and I really sometimes wonder if someone normal in this country has believed that those who stay behind tens of thousands of deaths of other “ ” will not continue their bloody holiday against their “ ”, ” in somewhat changed circumstances and in many more perfect ways.
In the sea of existential problems, and parallel to that in trying to print and forget the 1990s, most Serbian citizens are fully convinced that evil, after being released from the chain, will eventually bite what freed it. The majority of Serbian citizens, unfortunately, cannot see the strong cause-passing ties between the current robbery of Serbia, the robbery of natural resources, Rio Tinto and all other environmental crimes, between the total and irreversible destruction of Belgrade and the majority of the cities of this country; between the seizures of rivers and other natural resources; among the increasingly poor conditions in which we are increasingly sinking deeper; among the broken institutions and the destruction of the state; amid almost the sense of vulnerability, uncertainty and all sorts of misery. with what was done in Serbia's name during the 1990s.
The tragic events of May of last year and nearly 20 people killed at primary school “Vladislav Ribnikar” and in villages around Mladenov are a direct consequence of the hatred and evil that are injected daily in countless ways in majority mental criteria, and all of this has its roots in the 1990s. Children who tear and beat other children, who burn and plunder animals, who send bomb threats, who mistreat the elderly, who are filled with hatred, fear and shame, who are disoriented and lost in a world that is changing more and more rapidly, and they knock in the country, children who are alienated from themselves, and the world around them are the result of the ninety years and the value system that we are born as society. And, unfortunately, efforts to generate this constant hatred do not come to an end, because people who lead Serbia definitely neither know nor want to. And I'm afraid that the citizens of Serbia will have to see and experience many other bloody and terrible events to understand what I'm talking about and, above all, to make organised resistance to the criteria of such behavior.
Until then, if anything will help Serbia, and will not help, I am ready to stay behind my publicly spoken word and bear the consequences of what I have done, even in total despair and emotional darkness. At this moment, while I was planning to spend two months in the Penal Prison, I received news that my fellow fighters and friends of the Federal Anti-fascist Network, along with friends and colleagues of the organisation “Crocodil”, started an action on the collection of money. )
Knowing that in less than 24 hours have been collected four times more money than the planned amount and that by now more than 100 people from around the region, but even from different parts of the world, have paid their donations, it makes me happy. and grateful for the strength of solidarity and our support greater than the evil and hate sown by the government in Serbia. All of this gave us the spirit to create a solidarity fund that will be tasked with helping people in a situation similar to mine, and we will do so throughout the region. And I think at this point it's appropriate to write that any situation, even worse, can be good if we learn a lesson from it and get something good out of it.
Or as they say, when life gives you lemons, I make lemonade.
During that time, I sincerely and socially recommend to most Serbian citizens that all those who refuse to understand why our country is in such a catastrophic situation today should think carefully about how and why we reached the point where most citizens refuse. Let them know that they are its guardians.
