Action continues on illegal taxis in Pristina

Pristina's inspectorship in co-operation with the Kosovo Police since yesterday has launched an action on illegal taxis in the capital, which is continuing today. “We are in an action that has been going on since yesterday in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, aimed at controlling bus lines, illegal taxis and nationals”, Dush said.
He added that these are some of the issues that are negatively affecting the flow of communications to the city of Pristina.
“E know that one of the biggest problems according to our assessments and the police are these issues that are negatively affecting the flow of communications in the capital, and from yesterday we have placed some checkpoints in the capital that we have considered as the most problematic. It is important to note how inspectors have had checks in the past, yet I appreciate the coordination and support we have with the Kosovo Police. It's an action that's been planned for a long time period of”, Dushi said.
And the police official said that Kosovo police as always are in favour at both the central and local levels, and that the success of this action cannot be known without weekly or monthly assessments being made.
