Finance Minister Iron Murati has announced that 5 thousand and 54 new employees were registered during February.

He has said it comes as a result of entering into force the new ATK law, which requires workers to register/declarate at least one day before they start working.

On the other hand, Murati has announced that the campaign of raids on businesses for undeclared workers is continuing.

All employees should check if the employer has declared them to ATK, and in case not, denouncing the employer. The employer is obliged to declare all employees and pay contributions in order”, the minister wrote on Facebook.

Total position:

During February, 5,054 new employees were registered.
This comes as a result of the entry into force of the new ATK law, which requires workers to register/declarate at least one day before they start work.
The campaign of raids on undeclared workers businesses is continuing.
All employees should check whether the employer has declared them in ATK, and in case not, denouncing the employer. The employer is obliged to declare all employees and pay contributions fairly.
