Zelensky: Rama and I discussed the possibility of producing common weapons

Ukraine's president, located in Tirana under the summit for Ukraine, has reacted to social networks after meeting with Albania's prime minister at the prime minister's facilities.

Zelensky, through a post on the social network “X”, says Rama has discussed Ukraine's defence needs and the possibility of joint weapons production.

For the first days of the occupation, Albania supported Ukraine, our struggle for freedom and territorial integrity. During our meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama, we signed the Friendship and Co-operation Agreement between Ukraine and Albania. This document will contribute to the development of our co-operation and the strengthening of Ukraine's positions in the Balkan region. Today, we also discussed the needs of Ukraine's defence and the possibility of mass weapons production. Thanks to the government and the people of Albania, we will never forget your society's warm attitude towards Ukrainians! ” wrote Zelensky in “X”.
