President Bajram Begaj, on the occasion of marking Russia's two-year war on Ukraine, said Albania remains a staunch ally of Ukraine.
Two years after Russia's unpronounced and unfair military aggression against Ukraine, we stand in fear of the Ukrainian people's bold struggle for freedom, dignity and sovereignty. We remain the staunch allies of Ukraine, together defending these universal principles”, Begaj wrote.
For solidarity against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a comment on the social network “X”, has thanked the Albanian president.
“Thank you for your good words and steadfast solidarity with Ukraine, Bajram Begaj”, he wrote.
“We value Albania's support and look forward to ensuring a peaceful European future for both our countries and Europe as a whole”, Zelensky wrote.
Two years on behalf of Russia's unpronounced, unjust military influence against Ukraine, we stand in a second of the Ukrainian peoples fight for freedom, digital, and sovereignty.
