“With outstanding importance is the role of the United States and its leadership in global security”, Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi has said, at the conclusion of the Munich Security Conference.
The North Macedonia Government announced that Xhaferi, along with 450 other political leaders, through presence in panels, informal conversations and bilateral meetings, shared the definition of Northern Macedonia in strategic partnership with the US, contribution and NATO membership and accelerated EU integration.
The “in the Conference harmonised the definition of reconciliation instead of revenge, and strengthening regional co-operation as part of the path towards full integration into the European Union”, the Northern Macedonia Government says.
In bilateral meetings with partners from Europe and the world, as reported in the government communiqué, it stressed that the elections are determining for the Euro-Atlantic prospects of Northern Macedonia, but also of great regional importance. Integration of the Western Balkans into the EU is the political, security and economic interest of the region and the Union, and geostrategic investment in the stability of the European continent and beyond.
