The 45th witness of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office (ZSP) with the W04576 code, Hajrush Kurtaj, is continuing his testimony Thursday also in the trial against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. Kurtaj said I don't know how Shukri Buya became commander of the Operative Zone in Nerodime.
The Witness is continuing to question Thaci's lawyer, Luka Misetiq, who at the beginning of his questions focused on the KLA witness's key, the appointment of commanders of Brigade 162 in Kacanik, the KLA structure in the Nerodime Operative Zone and the commander of this area, Shkuri Buja.
The Witnesses have stressed that the KLA is voluntarily locked up, and that for this, he has discussed with his brother, Geladin Kurtaj, who, according to him, is now the hero of the Nation and the then commander of Brigade 162, Agim Bajrami.
According to the witness, he had no knowledge until after the war for the KLA structure in Nerodime, nor how his commander, Shukri Buya, was appointed.
Similarly, Kurtaj said he did not know how and who had appointed Agim Bajram commander of the 126 Brigade, nor Qamil Ilazin, who replaced Agim Bajram after his fall on the battlefield.

Otherwise, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, on September 30th, 2022, has handed over the confirmed amended indictment against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, which consists of ten points of charges, where the latter are charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
On April 29th 2022, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office had handed over a amended indictment to Hashim Thaci, Kadri Wessel, Rexhepi and Jakup Krasniqi, where four indictees have committed war crimes even in Gjilan, Budakov and Semtish.
On November 9th 2020, in their first appearances, Hashim Thaci's Jakup Krasniqi has been declared innocent of the charges placed on them. Wessel has also been declared in his presentation on November 10th, as has Rexhep Selimi on November 11th.
