Kosovo Radio Television Director Riley Grovalla has reacted to the comparison used by Kosovo MP Ardian Kastrati with Serbia's Radio Television, writes Periscopi.
This reaction by Gervala came after MP Kastrati, in one of the television debates, made this comparison between both televisions as the cause of the spread of propaganda by RTK, on the occasion of Kurti's visit to RMV, where it was reported that the assassinations were made against Kosovo's prime minister.
“...Ardian Kastrati lost his mind and compared RTK with RTS and him with no correction from the show leader...”, he wrote on Facebook. /Periscope

NO CRAHOUS WITH SERBINS!
RTK's announcement that Prime Minister Kurti has been threatened by extremists during his visit to Skopje has triggered reactions to some of our competitors. In that sense, nothing new on the front media. And since the language of the debate in the studio often re-reads the street language, fills it like coffee, it was expected that there would be... what do we call it? Stairs?
But everything has a limit. For me, this border was crossed in RTV Dukagjin studio, when MP Ardian Kastrati lost his mind and compared him RTK with RTS and him with no correction from the show's leader. And who? The MP who knows RTK studios well.
This comparison, the daily tone in which Kastrati said it, freely, carelessly, was almost ordering a coffee; as well as the mild repetition of the moderator “RTS are you telling RTK? This normal tone by which Kastrati and others like him sell such madness in the television studio at the best time. Just stop breathing.
Do the most masters know the difference between RTS and RTK? Do they remember RTS was a tool of Serbia's genocide when RTK was its victim? Or can they make the difference today between what RTS says and what RTK says? Do they not know who governs these two institutions? RTS is under control of the Vucic regime, and we at RTK are under the control of the democratic parliament of the Republic of Kosovo: do masters know the difference? Or do they know but erase it: that they have radicalized and live in a world of their own, like all extremists?
I don't know which answer would be better. Honestly, they scare me both. That both demonstrate how normal the extreme has normalized. What we're all used to, as professionals, as politicians and as public. We're all burning up like frogs in boiling water, but we can't see how he can't skin us. Because the water has gradually warmed up.
I invite all of my colleagues to put our finger on his head and think before we even talk about it at the debate studio. We're seeing every day how destructive extreme polarization is everywhere, even in the world's oldest democracy, in the United States. Imagine what this foam does, these string of nerves in the studio, a teenage democracy like ours.
RTK is the only public broadcaster in the region to enjoy high visibility and credibility. As such, of course, he will always be targeted: at times by power, once by the opposition. RTK announced credit threats to the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo. Maybe our competitors are unexposed for RTK to have scoop, that's all. This time we are, tomorrow you will be. All of this is normal, within the soybeans of a live democracy media face.
But don't swell like coffee every time. Don't go crazy in the studio. Everything has a limit: not to compare each other with Serbia. (I'm sure) that the Kastrati excusor would say the same.
With all due respect for the honest and progressive citizens of Serbia and even the Serb community in Kosovo, But after successive viruses -- Milosevic, Kostunica, Vucic -- today the word Serbia expresses no nationality or state is being diagnosed. Do not compare yourself with Serbia, that's all I want to say. That S' does no one -- less than the one who compares.
